Subdivision plats must be submitted with an engineer's stamp and go through a minimum of two reviews by county officials before approval. Once approved by county zoning officials it may be recorded by the County Clerk and entered into the subdivision and /or parcel layer, either through coordinate geometry (COGO) or import of the submitted digital plat. This layer is maintained by the Assessor's office on the same 'as required' schedule as the tax parcels.
